This is the nation's first freestanding museum dedicated to the memory of the Holocaust, the mass slaughter of European civilians, and especially Jews, by the Nazis during World War II. It was built in 2003-2004, designed by Neumann Smith & Associates of Southfield, Michigan. Read more »
